Voices of Hope reaching $1 million in donations Saturday!

ANDOVER — At first they sang to remember, now they also sing to celebrate. Local nonprofit and production company Voices of Hope will hold its annual check presentation at 7 p.m., Saturday, at the group’s “Nest” at the Ballard Vale United Church, 23 Clark Road. North Shore Music Theatre, Beverly, MA August 25, 2023, Andover, MA: The upcoming performance by local non-profit Voices of Hope is all about moments. The opening number from Voices of Hope’s one-night benefit production of Broadway Rock & Reel starts with these lyrics, “Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for…,” and ends with, “This is the greatest show!” These words from The Greatest Showman ring true as the all-volunteer organization anticipates achieving its long-awaited goal of donating one million dollars to cancer research with proceeds from this powerful and uplifting performance. Lawrence, MA (November 26, 2017) – On Sunday, November 26th, Andover resident Roger Desjardins will run one mile to complete his goal of 1,000 miles in a single year. In January, the long-time member of Voices of Hope, a local non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for cancer research, announced his intention to run 1,000 miles as an individual fundraising effort. He asked friends, family, and colleagues to donate, and had quickly received pledges of more than $12/mile. Read more...
