Bruins Alumni play Chelmsford/Westford PD to Raise Funds for Voices of Hope!
On February 7, 2025 the Boston Bruins Alumni hosted the Chelmsford/Westford police departments in a charity hockey game at the Warrior Arena (Bruins Practice Facility) in Boston to benefit Voices of Hope! It was an action filled game witnessed by a sold out crowd who enjoyed such Bruins legends as Ken Hodge, Bruce Crowder, Rejean Lemlin along with guest player, the Patriots Jermaine Wiggins who suited up for the Police All Stars!! It was all kicked off by members of Voices of Hope performing the National Anthem and then the puck drop from 2 year old Caleb Melo in honor of his mom Meghan who was going through cancer treatment.

There was a very fun pee wee hockey game as 3 Bruins took on about 20 of the youngsters at intermission along with a robust autograph session.
The Bruins were the victor but the police played their hearts out and all in all a very fun night that raised a lot of funds to donate to the Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies at the MGH Cancer Center.
There will be a re-match in 2026 so stay tuned!!!
